Hey, guys!
It's almost new years eve and I still haven't bought the books I want. Why? Because my parents are very busy and I'm always bored to leave the house but I hope that these days, or at least at new years eve I'll have them. Here in Greece, we open our presents at new years. It doesn't really make sense cause they're called 'Christmas presents' but yeah... here Santa comes a little late, maybe because he has to go to all these places first and he doesn't have the time, or maybe he takes a break to feed his raindeers. Who knows?!
Today I didn't really do much, I was sleeping most of the day hehe no regrets! I mean that's why we have holidays, that's what we're supposed to do. I know some of my friends are actually studying these days! I can't imagine myself waking up early to study history or math or anything in general. My daily routine includes; sleep, sleep and more sleep!
I have to dress up, have dinner with my family, wait till midnight so we can open our presents and then go out to see the fireworks like we do every year, break a pomegranate outside of the door (for good luck) and do all these traditional things everyone does in new years. I also have to decide what I'll eat! Let me just remind you that there will be meat everywhere! I hate that because I'll feel bad for these poor animals but it's a tradition to eat meat at new years. I've found some amazing recipes with pomegranate and I think I'm gonna try them! They're pretty cool!
Hope you guys have a great time with your families and I wish you a happy new year! Fill your life with happiness and joy and keep smiling!
